The 14th International HCH and Pesticides Forum is developed within the framework of the European Life Surfing Project “DNAPL remediation with surfactants and chemical oxidation”, a project co-financed by the European Union.
The project is organized by the Contaminated Soils Service of the General Directorate of Climate Change and Environmental Education, of the Government of Aragon in Spain.
The Aragonese Society of Agro-environmental Management (SARGA) and the International Association of HCH & Pesticides (IHPA) participate in it, the latter being responsible for managing the website of the event, acting as webmaster of the website, assuming the role of Responsible for the treatment established in REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the treatment of personal data and the free movement of these data.
Collaborating in the project as partners, the Complutense University of Madrid, who will have access to the information generated from the management of the event to the extent necessary for the planned activities.

INTERNATIONAL HCH & PESTICIDES ASSOCIATION (hereinafter IHPA), has been entrusted by the European Union with the tasks of technical issues of 14th International HCH and Pesticides Forum February 21-24th, 2023 Zaragoza, Spain in the framework of Life Surfing Project, highlighting the field implementation of the tests and the monitoring and analysis of the results obtained. As part of the dissemination work, IHPA is entrusted with the management of the website https://www.hchforum.com, where the user is allowed, through a contact form: “Register for the event so that the webmaster can manage everything related to the activities of the forum”.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform how IHPA collects, processes and protects personal data through these forms generated on the website, so that users are informed and freely and voluntarily determine if they wish to provide your personal data.
To the extent possible, the management of the personal data necessary for the subscription will be carried out through the indicated website, so that IHPA will provide users with the appropriate technical resources so that, prior to the completion of personal data, they can access this Privacy Policy and any other relevant information regarding the protection of personal data. These reports will be disseminated following the dissemination and publicity guidelines of the Project.
We also inform you that in order to comply with the Communication Plan of the Project, during it photos and videos will be made that will be distributed by the organization to the media, by social networks and any other means always within the framework of the project and development of the Forum.
On the other hand, in order to evaluate the quality of the Forum, contents and the satisfaction in the management, the organization may contact you through your email account to collect that information once it is finished.
By checking the “button” on the forms, you declare that the information provided is true, exact, complete and up-to-date, being responsible for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, that may be caused as a result of breach of such obligation.

If the user is under 14 years of age, it is necessary that they have the prior consent of their parents or guardians, before proceeding to include their personal data in the forms of the websites.
- PROCESSING OF USER DATA AND THEIR PURPOSE CARRIED OUT THROUGH THE WEBSITES
IHPA will process the personal data provided by the user in order to manage their user registration and identify them as a “registered user” to manage the data related to the registration on the website for attendance at the Forum and the performance of the activities that will be carried out in it.
If any treatment requires special considerations, the user will be informed through the corresponding indications, at the time of requesting their data.

The competent bodies in matters of control, monitoring and auditing of the work carried out will have access to your data for the sole purpose of verifying compliance with the provisions of the applicable legal provisions.
IHPA will not communicate the user’s personal data to third parties without obtaining the user’s prior consent, unless the transfer of their data is necessary to maintain the contractual relationship with the user, signing the corresponding data processing contract with third parties, or by requirements demanded in current legislation on security.
IHPA is not responsible for service outages, website malfunctions or external links.

In this case, information related to the user’s browsing on the different websites may be collected and processed. Any personal information that is collected through these applications may be used by third-party users of the same, and their interactions are subject to the privacy policies of those responsible for facilitating the applications.
They may also include links to sites controlled by third parties. The user must remember that by using a link to access from the Web to another, this Privacy Policy will cease to have effect. IHPA declines any type of responsibility with respect to the privacy and data processing of other websites.
- CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
The personal data that we may collect through the Web or through the different communications that we maintain with the user will be treated with absolute confidentiality, committing ourselves to keep secrecy regarding them and guaranteeing the duty to keep them by adopting all the necessary measures of a nature technical and organizational that protect its integrity and confidentiality, avoiding its accidental alteration, loss, destruction or damage and illicit or unauthorized treatment or access, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation, taking into account the technology, the nature of the stored data and the risks to which it is exposed, whether they come from human action or from the physical or natural environment.
The data will be stored in a space in which the European regulation on data protection is applicable.
On the other hand, IHPA has other additional measures, which may include the anonymization of the information, to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of the information, continuously maintaining the supervision, control and evaluation of the processes.
